This Privacy Policy explains how LuciHome ("LuciHome", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use lucihome.com (the "Platform"), regardless of where in the world you're located.
In short: we collect the data needed to run LuciHome, and we do not sell it, rent it, or share it with any third party for their own use. The sections below explain exactly what we collect and why.
1. Who we are

We don't collect financial account information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal data through the Platform.
3. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account, and confirm you're at least 18 years old;
- To let you publish, search for, and view listings;
- To enable private messaging between buyers and sellers;
- To show your name, photo, and (if you've chosen to share it) your phone number on listings you publish.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For users located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our processing of personal data relies on:
- Contractual necessity — to create your account and provide the core features you sign up for (listings, search, messaging).
- Consent — for showing your phone number publicly, which you control from your profile.
- Legitimate interest — for keeping the Platform secure and functioning correctly.
5. Who can see your information
- Your name, profile photo, and (if you chose to show it) your phone number are visible to anyone viewing a listing you've published.
- Your email address, date of birth, and gender are never shown publicly.
- Messages you send are visible only to you and the other participant in that conversation.
6. Third-party services we use
LuciHome uses Supabase as our database, authentication, and file storage provider, which acts as our data processor. We don't share your data with any other third party.
7. International data transfers
Because LuciHome serves users across many countries and uses Supabase's infrastructure, personal data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. Where this involves transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on the safeguards provided by our processor, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
8. Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you deactivate your account from your profile page, your profile, listings, photos, and favorites are permanently deleted.
9. Your rights (GDPR & beyond)
If you're located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data, editable directly from your profile page;
- Erasure — delete your personal data by deactivating your account, or by contacting us;
- Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances;
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly used format;
- Withdraw consent — for example, by hiding your phone number again from your profile at any time.

10. Cookies and local storage
LuciHome uses your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) to keep you logged in between visits and to remember your cookie-notice preference. 11. Children's privacy
LuciHome is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated policy.
