This Privacy Policy explains how LuciHome ("LuciHome", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit lucihome.com or interact with our forms, tools, and content (the "Site"), regardless of where in the world you are located.

LuciHome is currently in active development, operating as a pre-launch presentation site ahead of its beta release. This policy reflects the data practices in place during this stage and will be updated as the platform evolves.

1. Who We Are

LuciHome is an international real estate platform connecting individuals, agents, agencies, notaries, and banks. At this stage, LuciHome is operated independently and is not yet incorporated as a registered company. This section will be updated with full corporate details once incorporation is complete.

For any privacy-related question, you can reach us at contact@lucihome.com.

2. International Use of LuciHome

LuciHome is designed to be used by visitors, agents, agencies, and professionals across multiple countries. Because of this, visitors may be located anywhere in the world, including the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, the United States, and other regions with their own data protection laws.

We aim to apply the protections described in this policy — including the GDPR-aligned principles in Section 5 and Section 9 — to all users of the Site, regardless of location, even where local law would not strictly require it.

3. Data We Collect

We currently collect the following categories of data:

Category Examples Source
Contact information Full name, email address, message content, selected role (e.g. Agent, Agency, Bank) Submitted voluntarily through our Contact form
Usage & analytics data Pages visited, time on page, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, referral source Automatically collected via Google Analytics 4
Calculator inputs Values entered into the Mortgage Rate Calculator (property price, down payment, rate, term) Entered by the user; processed locally in the browser and not stored or transmitted by default
Cookie consent status Whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies Stored in your browser's local storage

We do not currently collect financial account information, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal data through the Site.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to questions or messages submitted through our Contact form
  • To understand how visitors use the Site, in order to improve content, performance, and design
  • To monitor and improve the Site's security and reliability
  • To communicate updates about the platform's beta launch, where you have provided your contact details for this purpose

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your data for unrelated third-party advertising.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For visitors located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, our processing of personal data relies on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Consent — for non-essential analytics cookies and any optional communications you opt into.
  • Legitimate interest — for essential Site functionality, security, and understanding general usage trends to improve the platform.
  • Contractual necessity / pre-contractual steps — when you submit a request through our Contact form or register interest in becoming a Founding Member, in order to respond to you.

6. Third-Party Services We Use

The Site currently uses the following third-party processors:

  • Google Analytics 4 — website usage analytics. Google may process this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Formspree — used to process and deliver messages submitted through our Contact form. Formspree processes this data on our behalf in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We do not control these third parties' independent use of data outside the scope of the service they provide to us, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

7. International Data Transfers

Because LuciHome uses third-party services such as Google Analytics and Formspree, personal data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where this involves transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on the safeguards provided by our processors, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms, where applicable.

8. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, unless you request earlier deletion. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings, which may be adjusted by us over time.

9. Your Rights (GDPR & Beyond)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest, including analytics.
  • Portability — request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies), you may withdraw it at any time via your cookie settings.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@lucihome.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Cookies

The Site uses essential cookies required for basic functionality, and analytics cookies (via Google Analytics) that are only activated if you accept them through our cookie consent banner. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

11. Children's Privacy

LuciHome is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, and who are engaging with the Site in connection with real estate activity. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

As LuciHome moves from pre-launch presentation to an active beta platform, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect new features, data practices, and legal entities involved. We recommend checking this page periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

13. Contact Us

For any question about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, contact us at contact@lucihome.com or through our Contact page.
