LuciHome started as a question: why doesn't real estate have one global, trustworthy ecosystem yet? Here's how we're answering it.
The first idea for LuciHome came in 2022. Back then, there wasn't enough knowledge, research, or technical ability yet to build it — just a question that wouldn't go away: why does buying or selling property internationally still feel so disconnected and untrustworthy?
Over the following years, that question turned into research. Real estate agents work almost entirely on commission, which means every sale matters — yet for agents just starting out, building a pipeline of opportunities is genuinely hard. At the same time, buyers and sellers often lose access to information they should have had from the start, and there was no real ecosystem connecting the people involved in a transaction with the trust it deserves.
That gap became the foundation for LuciHome: a platform that doesn't just list properties, but brings together every part of the real estate process — agents, agencies, notaries, banks, and buyers — into one connected, transparent ecosystem.
LuciHome wasn't built by someone from inside the real estate industry — it was built by someone who loves building things. With a background in tech rather than property, the project started with deep research rather than industry assumptions: understanding how agents actually work, where buyers lose trust, and where the entire process breaks down across borders.
That outsider's perspective became an advantage — the goal was never to recreate what already exists, but to design the platform real estate never had: one ecosystem, built around transparency, collaboration, and global access.
International buyers face a particular challenge: they're often making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, in a market they don't fully understand, without visibility into what's actually happening at each step. LuciHome is built to change that — giving buyers and every professional involved the ability to see the process clearly, at any time, from anywhere in the world.
At a certain point, research wasn't enough anymore. Building LuciHome meant leaving behind a stable job and committing fully to the idea — not because it was the safe choice, but because the goal was to build something genuinely useful for an industry that hasn't had a true global ecosystem until now.
LuciHome has been built over five months of daily work, often 12 to 14 hours a day, to bring something functional and genuinely unique to the market. Most of the platform has been built independently, with additional input along the way from friends with backgrounds in real estate and technology, who helped sharpen both the product and the thinking behind it.
